ABOUT THE BOOK

Almost dying sure has a way of putting things into perspective. One minute, I’m protecting Gabriel. The next, a demon has its claws buried in my chest and a literal grip on my heart.

Now, I’m supposed to rest and recuperate. Except that’s not possible. Not only does Gabriel still have a bounty on his head, but there’s a coven of witches out there who want me dead, and the demon that nearly killed me is still loose in Mississippi.

Fun times, right?

Gabriel wants nothing more than to wrap me in blankets and keep me under constant supervision. Sweet? Yes. Maddening? Also yes. Especially when every instinct I possess is screaming at me to protect him.

I spent my life believing I didn’t need anyone. Now, I finally have a family, a mate offering me forever, and everything to lose.

I may not be at my strongest, but I can still kick a little ass—and I’ll take a bite out of anyone who gets in my way.
